Calvin Richardson was a major part of R&B history, when he performed and recorded major albums with R&B boy band Jodeci. Calvin Richardson says. “The K-Ci session was like a re-union we were in a group together at one point before the Jodeci years. Chico is very talented so I really enjoyed working with him. Monifah took a little more effort to make that happen that than the rest but it turned out great, I’m glad we did it” |

Ruby Turner has done a lot in her time as an British R&B/Soul diva and artist. She has worked and recorded with many musician. Though, for Ruby Turner it all started in Jamaica as at age nine she moved with her family to Birmingham. “(laughs) It was such a long time ago my love”, she says on the matter. “Yes, it was a bit of a culture shock but in time, how can I say? It was an adventure, it really was just that. I was just as excited as I was afraid, you know?" |

Three emcees from Waco, Texas joined Soulisms for a interview in conjunction with the groups latest album, The Healing. “We formed the group around the year of 2001. Me and S1 were in a group called Symbolic Elementz, while Myone was a solo artist we were working with on several collaborations”, says Myth. |
