Sarina Leah began singing in a church choir at a young age, known as Young and Gifted. She began writing and recording her own songs, after discovering her spiritual connection with Reggae, Soul and Nu-Jazz. She would head into the UK underground music scene, to find herself soon collaborating with Virgin Records IG Culture. Later, she'd feature on Les Nubians 2003 album One Step Forward.
